Introduction To Digital Fine Art Printing – Achieving your aesthetic intent
What does it take to create a master print? How about “close attention to file preparation”?
Following George DeWolfe's Digital Photography Fine Print Workshop (c) 2006, Pielsticker will provide students an introduction to color management and calibration, digital workflow, optimizing global and local contrast, detail and color balance, working with luminosity and ambient light, outlining objects, and final file preparation for printing. Each participant may choose an image of their own to prepare and print using CPM's large format printer during the final class session. The class will run for four 2-hour sessions.
Class limited to 12 students.
