The Center for Photography at Madison (CPM) provides a home for photographic activity in Wisconsin offering a broad range of educational programming, exhibitions and publications. CPM provides a facility and forum for the exchange of ideas, study and appreciation of the medium and promotes photography for creative expression, cultural investigation and enjoyment. Involvement with CPM is primarily be through a membership relationship, with educational programs offered to the community at large. CPM is a non-profit organization and provides a wide range of  interest groups, photography classes, workshops, lectures and programs, an exhibition space and sales gallery, a well-equipped darkroom, an informal meeting area, a library and resource center, a quarterly newsletter, opportunities for image sharing, portfolio reviews, a weekly update on current activities, and much more.

To learn more about current activities, check out the Classes section of this web site.On-line registration for classes is now possible. Mail-in Registrations are still being accepted for those who prefer to register in this manner. A complete list of Fall classes usually is posted in late July and the listings for Spring classes are posted in December of each year.

Check out the Interest Groups that meet monthly to present and discuss specialty topics in photography. All are welcome to attend. Come to the CPM studio at the monthly meetings. See Interest Groups for time and day of the week.

For help in understanding the broad scope of activities sponsored by CPM, check out the About Us section as well as the Exhibits Section.  To see "Madison Protest 2011",  a Video Created  by Cheryl Diermyer for the current CPM Exhibit, click on this link:  http://vimeo.com/26164792
